Free flu shots available for faculty, staff, retirees in October, November
Wake Forest is sponsoring free flu shots for all faculty, staff and retirees in October and November. Spouses and dependent children (at least eight years old), who are enrolled in the University’s BlueCross BlueShield medical plan, also are welcome, but are not required to register. Those with a Deacon OneCard are asked to bring it. All supplies are latex-free, and egg-free vaccines are available upon request.

A presentation on the University’s upcoming benefits enrollment period will be made at the Staff Advisory Council meeting on Oct. 9. The meeting will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. in Benson University Center, Room 410.

Wait Chapel’s Bell Tower to be seen in a new light
The light fixtures that shine on the Wait Chapel Bell Tower will be replaced this month with new energy-efficient LED fixtures that will allow deeper and more vibrant colors for special events and other occasions.
