Annual benefits enrollment Oct. 22-31

Annual Benefits Enrollment begins today, Oct. 22, and runs through Oct. 31. Visit the Annual Benefits Enrollment webpage to review the guidebook and enroll via Workday if you are an eligible faculty or staff member who is:

• Changing benefit elections,
• Adding or removing a dependent(s), and/or
• Planning to enroll or re-enroll in a Flexible Spending Account (FSA). FSA elections do not automatically renew from one year to the next, and require active enrollment from you each plan year.

If you are adding a spouse and/or dependent child(ren) to the medical and/or dental plan(s) for the first time, you will need to submit dependent verification documentation in Workday by October 31.

Enroll for 2019 benefits by going to your Workday inbox, clicking the Open Enrollment Change task, and following the instructions on the screen. Note enrollment cannot be completed using the Workday mobile app.

Benefits Fair: Stop by to visit with benefit providers, receive giveaways, and for benefits enrollment assistance. The fairs will take place:

• Tuesday, Oct. 23 from Noon to 4 p.m. in Sutton Center, 4th Floor
• (Charlotte): Thursday, Oct. 25 from Noon to 2 p.m. in Room 107

Enrollment Assistance Sessions: Enrollment assistance will be offered during sessions held at various campus locations, for which registration is not required.

• Wednesday, Oct. 24*
  9 – 11 a.m. | HS Moore, Room 2
  Noon – 3 p.m. | Graylyn, Bernard Conference Room
• Friday, Oct. 26

  1 – 3 p.m. | Reynolda Hall, Room 301
• Monday, Oct. 29
  10 a.m. – Noon | University Corporate Center, Room 1018
• Tuesday, Oct. 30

*Assistance for Spanish speakers will be available at the October 24 Enrollment Assistance Sessions. Asistencia para personas de habla hispana estará disponible en las Sesiones de Asistencia para las Inscripciones el 24 de octubre.
