Veterans Day ceremony to be held on campus Nov. 11

A Veterans Day ceremony will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 11 at the flagpole in Parking Lot B between Davis Residence Hall and Benson University Center.  There will be a wreath laying ceremony in honor of veterans and all those currently serving in the military.  Limited seating will be available.

Campus invited to come together tonight after passing of Jordan Bayer

Dear Students, Faculty and Staff,

In response to the heartbreaking news of the recent passing of WFU Junior Jordan Bayer, grieving members of the community are invited to come together at 7 pm Tonight, Saturday November 7, in Davis Chapel. Staff from the Office of the Chaplain, University Counseling Center, and Campus Life will be present to provide support.

I am saddened to inform you that Jordan Thomas Bayer, a junior from Brookline, Massachusetts, died Friday evening at a Charlotte hospital following a car accident in Charlotte.
