Wake Alert Emergency. The National Weather Service has issued a tornado warning for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area. Seek shelter now. Go to the lowest level of a building. Stay away from doors and windows. Our first priority is to ensure the health and safety of those on our campus. Updates will appear on the Wake Alert website.

The following Wake Alert message was announced on the morning of Feb. 6:

Wake Forest is delaying a test of its Wake Alert emergency notification system that was planned for Oct. 31, originally.  Instead, the test will take place at 3:30 p.m. on Nov. 15.

This announcement was emailed to students, faculty and staff on May 15 by Wake Forest Communications and External Relations:Wake Forest will conduct tests of its indoor and outdoor emergency alert systems starting on May 21 and continuing through May 24.

This announcement was emailed to students, faculty and staff on May 3 by Wake Forest Communications and External Relations:Wake Forest will conduct tests of its indoor and outdoor emergency alert systems shortly after commencement day.
