Vice President for Finance leaves to take new position
Janet Williams, vice president for finance, has accepted a position as vice president for finance and administration at Elon University, beginning next month.
Williams came to Wake Forest in 2018 and has managed the finance and accounting areas of the University. At Elon, her responsibilities will expand beyond finance and accounting to include oversight of human resources, physical plant, information technology, campus safety and police, auxiliary services, administrative services, internal audit and planning, design and construction.
“I am grateful for the significant ways Janet has contributed to the University, both as a professional leader and as a very engaged member of the Wake Forest community,” Milam said. “Janet provided strong leadership, particularly in the areas of enterprise risk management, procurement, and campus financial services.” Read more
