A timely update on the Business 40 closure will be presented Nov. 13 at a meeting of the Staff Advisory Council (SAC). The meeting will feature a presentation on the closure and commuting options by Pat Ivey with the N.C. Department of Transportation. Business 40 along downtown Winston-Salem is expected to close Nov. 17 for a major improvement project.

Business 40 downtown will close at 8 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 11, for a long-anticipated reconstruction of a 1.2-mile stretch of the highway, the Department of Transportation announced Oct. 16.

All staff are encouraged to come and enjoy a delicious lunch, play games (like Bingo and Cornhole!), check out the photo booths and enjoy time with campus colleagues.
