Updated information regarding off-campus robbery

The Winston-Salem Police Department is continuing to investigate the armed robbery of four male Wake Forest students at their off-campus residence on Long Drive, across University Parkway from campus. The robbery occurred around 10 a.m. today at a house leased by the students. The University Police Department is assisting with the investigation and increasing patrols of the campus.


Crime alert: Off-campus robbery under investigation

At 10:17 a.m. this morning, September 9, 2016, two black males wearing all black clothing with bandanas covering their faces forced their way into a house on Long Drive occupied by four Wake Forest students. The suspects pointed handguns at the students and one shot was fired inside the house. No one was injured in the shooting.
