A message about the flu from the Student Health Service

This announcement was emailed to students, faculty and staff on behalf of the Student Health Service on Feb. 12:

The Student Health Service has begun to see large numbers of students with influenza, “the flu.”  Typical symptoms include sudden onset of fever, body aches, headaches, sore throat, cough, and fatigue.


NEA, NEFA grants help bring Forklift Danceworks to WFU

Wake Forest’s Interdisciplinary Performance and Liberal Arts Center (IPLACe) has been awarded grants from the National Endowment for the Arts and the New England Foundation for the Arts to help fund an interdisciplinary collaboration with Forklift Danceworks – an organization based in Austin, Texas, that uses creative collaboration to spark conversation and inspire change.


Campus Connections to feature Villalba, Ellis, Eaton on Feb. 7

José Villalba, vice president for diversity and inclusion and chief diversity officer, will be among the speakers at Campus Connections on Feb. 7.  The event will begin at 8:45 a.m. with a light breakfast in Benson University Center, Room 401. It is scheduled to conclude by 10 a.m.  Members of the University community are invited.
