WakeListens

President Hatch emailed this message to faculty and staff on March 21:

Dear Wake Forest Faculty and Staff,

Wake Forest is a place that encourages and values conversation and respectful discourse. We are at our best when we share ideas, listen to the thoughts of others and work together to create solutions. In this spirit, we are conducting the University-wide WakeListens faculty and staff survey from March 25 to April 12 to learn more about your experience at Wake Forest. Whether you have been here four months or 40 years, I am eager to hear your thoughts on how we can continue to strengthen our community and create a thriving workplace.

You will receive a link from surveys@modernthink.net on March 25, inviting you to complete the survey. This is an opportunity to provide feedback in a confidential manner, and I hope you will contribute your thoughts. While the institution will not be able to identify the results by individual, a high response rate will help ensure our community is accurately represented. At the close of the program, the University will receive summary-level reports, with recommendations about areas on which we can focus to enhance the faculty and staff experience. The results will be shared in forums with leaders across campus, who will take insights back to their schools and departments.

The survey will be administered by ModernThink, through the national Great Colleges to Work For program, which helps foster faculty and staff engagement across academia. The program also recognizes exemplary workplaces through an annual listing in The Chronicle of Higher Education. You may explore more information about the survey on the Human Resources website. Additionally, you may contact AskHR@wfu.edu with questions, or direct confidential inquiries to ModernThink at surveys@modernthink.net.

Thank you for your ongoing contributions to the Wake Forest community.

Sincerely,

Nathan O. Hatch
President
