The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) was developed nearly fifteen years ago to strengthen communication among staff and administration at all levels of the University. The SAC knows your voice is important, and they’re inviting staff to use their voice to nominate a colleague to the SAC today!

Leadership and Character conference to explore character in the professions

“Character and the Professions,” hosted by the Program for Leadership and Character at Wake Forest University and the Oxford Character Project at the University of Oxford, will be held Thursday, March 18 through Saturday, March 20. Leading scholars and professionals will explore the role of character in the professions at a three-day virtual conference. Former U.S. Secretaries of State Madeleine K. Albright and General Colin L. Powell (ret.) will be featured in an opening keynote session in conversation with Wake Forest President Nathan Hatch.

WFU Humanities Institute celebrates 10 years

The Humanities Institute is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year by gathering stories from faculty about their collaborations with the Institute over the past decade. Building on its liberal arts tradition, Wake Forest established the Humanities Institute to support innovative scholarship and collaboration in October 2010. The Humanities Institute publicly celebrated its launch in March 2011.


COVID-19 vaccine update: Eligibility for additional frontline essential workers in Group 3

The following message is shared on behalf of Wake Forest University Human Resources; it was emailed to faculty and staff on March 2, 2021. Earlier today, it was announced that additional frontline essential workers in Group 3 – including faculty and staff in higher education who are working on-site – would be eligible for vaccinations beginning Wednesday, March 3. We encourage eligible colleagues to make an appointment with one of the following vaccine providers:
