Wake Forest EMS team to participate in nearby drill March 30

This announcement was emailed to students, faculty and staff on March 20 by Wake Forest Communications and External Relations:

The student-run Wake Forest Emergency Medical Service (EMS) team will participate March 30 in a mass casualty drill at the BB&T University Center at 2400 Reynolda Road, which is located near the Reynolda Road entrance to campus.


Campus fire alarm systems operating normally

This announcement was emailed to students, faculty and staff on March 25 by Wake Forest Communications and External Relations:

All campus fire alarm systems are operating normally again following maintenance on the alarms in the past two weeks.  The work on the alarm systems is complete.

I learned of an Instagram post last night that has created deep concern and anger among many members of the Wake Forest community and the Winston-Salem State University community.


AirCare helicopter to be on campus March 22 for an event

This announcement was emailed March 21 to students, faculty and staff by Wake Forest Communications and External Relations:

An AirCare helicopter that is part of the team that serves North Carolina and parts of Virginia will land on Poteat Field on March 22 and will remain on the field from 12 to 2 p.m.  The helicopter is coming to campus as part of an event organized by the Wake Forest University EMT squad.
