Parking and related information about student move-in
his message is distributed on behalf of Residence Life and Housing: Wake Forest will welcome a new freshman class on Wednesday, August, 22, when new student move-in begins at 8 a.m. For faculty and staff scheduled to be on campus that busy morning, the University has recommendations for where to enter campus and park.

Pendergraft leads American Classical League as its new president
Mary Pendergraft, professor and chair of Classical Languages, was installed as president of the American Classical League, recently. As part of her two-year term, she will lead the organization as it approaches its centennial celebration in 2019.

Memorial service scheduled for Professor David Coates
This announcement was e-mailed to faculty, staff and students on Aug. 16 by Wake Forest Communications and External Relations: A memorial service for David Coates, Worrell Professor of Anglo-American Studies, will be held October 2 at 4 p.m. in Brendle Recital Hall.

Gross’ paper presented Best Diversity Paper Award
A paper written by Michael D. Gross, associate professor of engineering, and two Olin College of Engineering faculty members has been presented the 2018 Best Diversity Paper Award by the Educational Research and Methods Division of the American Society for Engineering Education.
