Free wellbeing coaching and nutrition counseling available

Did you know that Wake Forest University’s Office of Wellbeing offers wellbeing coaching and nutrition counseling?
Wellbeing Coaching is a free service available to faculty and staff on the Reynolda campus. Enrollment for the program is now open. Clients will work one-on-one with a certified coach to identify their individual health and wellbeing goals, and then co-create a plan to achieve those goals and make them stick.

ResilientWake Workshop Series and SkillShare sessions for faculty and staff
Resilience helps us manage life changes, difficulties and failures in healthy ways. Over the coming weeks, the Office of Wellbeing will host a four-part ResilientWake Workshop Series and several single-session SkillShares for faculty and staff to learn and practice skills to better adjust, adapt and cope with challenges and change.
ResilientWake Workshop Series
Faculty and staff are invited to commit to a four-part workshop series on developing and implementing a toolkit of resilience skills.
Sessions will be held on Thursdays, from 12 to 1:15 p.m., beginning April 15.
Single-session ResilientWake SkillShares
Join instructors from the Office of Wellbeing for single-session SkillShares to learn resilience-building skills in the context of living and working through the COVID-19 pandemic, the benefits of routine and tips for practicing daily gratitude. Instructors and participants will cover what resilience is and is not, practice trauma-informed mind-body skills and explore intentional perspectives for navigating these uncertain times.

Updates from HR: Vaccines, policy update, THRIVE and Sustainability awards and TechX
The following message is shared on behalf of Wake Forest University Human Resources; it was emailed to faculty and staff on March 17.
COVID-19 vaccine update
To date, more than 3,500 members of the Wake Forest community have reported that they have been at least partially vaccinated at either an on-campus or community clinic.
Individuals in Group 4, beginning with high-risk medical conditions, are now eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccine. At this time, all 522 appointment slots for the March 22 vaccine opportunity have been filled. On March 18, Human Resources and the Student Health Service announced an additional vaccination opportunity for Friday, March 26, at Sutton Center. Information regarding registration was shared at that time. Employees may contact the Faculty and Staff Clinic at 743.223.4217 with any questions.
