Long-time textbook manager Willie Williams has been appointed general manager for University Stores. Follett announced this change upon the promotion of former general manager Andy Roush to a regional manager post.

During December and in early 2016, bushes and trees adjacent to the football practice fields will be removed as part of an extensive renovation of that portion of the campus. Work in that area includes renovation of football practice fields and construction of the Sports Performance Center.

Suzanne Reynolds, dean of the School of Law, will be the guest speaker Dec. 9 at the regular meeting of the Staff Advisory Council. She will speak early in the meeting, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Farrell Hall’s Broyhill Auditorium.

A charging station for electric vehicles has been installed on Gulley Drive immediately behind Tribble Hall, next to Manchester Plaza. The Office of Parking and Transportation installed the charging station, in collaboration with Facilities and Campus Services and the Office of Sustainability.

Allison McWilliams, director of mentoring and alumni personal and career development in the Office of Personal and Career Development, will write occasional articles in 2015-2016 for Inside WFU. This is her fifth for the academic year. In each, she shares observations and suggestions with faculty and staff drawn from her professional experience with students.
