Wake Forest is recognizing National Collegiate EMS Week with a series of events that are open to everyone at Wake Forest and the surrounding community.

On Wednesday, Nov. 7, the Winston-Salem Fire Department will do an extrication demonstration from 2:30-4 p.m. on the Magnolia Quad. It will cut apart a car to rescue a trapped victim in a mock extrication.

On Friday, Nov. 9, the Emergency Services Fair will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Davis Field. The AirCare helicopter from Baptist Medical Center will touch down on the field, and you’ll be able to see the new Forsyth County ambulance bus, a fire engine, University Police vehicles and more.
