Strengthen your digital security with passkeys before Nov. 23

Information Systems has seen an increase in compromised accounts as modern phishing campaigns grow more sophisticated, with some now able to intercept traditional two-factor authentication methods like SMS, phone calls, and numeric codes.
Passkeys offer a stronger and simpler way to log in by using features already built into your devices, such as Touch ID, Face ID, Windows Hello, or a personal PIN. Because a passkey only works when you have your device in hand, it stops phishing attempts that rely on stealing your login from far away.
To protect our campus community, we need all WFU accounts to enable passkeys by November 23. Find instructions and get your questions answered at go.wfu.edu/passkeys. Need help?
