Paula Gentius to Step Down from Board Secretary Role

Paula Gentius will step down from her roles as Secretary of the Board of Trustees and Director of the Board Office. She will continue in her current role through the October Board meeting or until her successor is on board to ensure a smooth transition.

Gentius came to Wake Forest two years ago and has been a valued member of the University Cabinet. During her two years of service, she hired talented team members, established sound practices to support University governance, and assisted with the University’s reaffirmation of accreditation.
