Staying informed: Measles awareness and prevention

The Campus Health Committee recently shared important information about measles awareness and prevention. Faculty, staff, and students are encouraged to review the message and visit the Campus Health website for additional guidance.

The message includes:

• Key information about measles symptoms and how it spreads
• The effectiveness of the MMR vaccine, campus vaccination requirements and guidance  for faculty and staff to locate their immunization record
• Guidance for those who may be unvaccinated, under-vaccinated, or immunocompromised
• Steps to take in the event of potential exposure
