Notice of planned helicopter landing on Davis Field on Nov. 14

Wake Forest Emergency Medical Services will be conducting a training event involving the landing of an AirCare helicopter from Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist on Davis Field on Friday, Nov. 14, during National Collegiate EMS Week. The event is expected to take place between 5–7 p.m.

The purpose of the event is to train members on pre-hospital care, transport in a helicopter, and transition between ground and air personnel. Engine 8 from the Winston-Salem Fire Department will be present for landing zone security.
