The Faculty Senate—the faculty body responsible for shared governance across Wake Forest’s academic operations—has announced its new executive committee for 2025-26:

The Faculty Senate reflects Wake Forest’s traditions of community, integrity, and inclusion. Comprising representatives from every school, along with ex officio members including the deans, the provost, the CFO, and the president, the Senate plays a vital role in shaping academic life at the University.

All faculty are encouraged to attend Senate meetings, which are open to the university community. The first meeting of the semester will take place Wednesday, Aug. 27, at 4 p.m. in Farrell Hall 111. The Senate will continue to meet on the third Wednesday of each month throughout the semester.
