Representatives from AT&T, Sprint and Verizon will be on campus Monday and Tuesday to answer questions about your cell phone plans and educate you on WFU discounts available to you in an event called “Cell-a-bration.” This event will take place July 23 (1-5 p.m.) and 24 (9 a.m.-2 p.m.) in the Green Room of Reynolda Hall. The representatives will be able to make changes to your account while on-site. Please bring your WFU ID with you.

Additionally, WFU is piloting a new Mobile Communication Device (MCD) Stipend Program. Departments have the option to convert to the Stipend Program and identify individuals who have a business need for a device and provide them with a Non-Compensatory, Non-Taxable monthly stipend. This program is designed to replace corporate plans and personal reimbursement plans used for individually assigned devices. Departmentally pooled devices should stay on corporate accounts, which can be set up through Procurement Services.

After the pilot phase, Procurement Services will be meeting with business managers and department heads who will review and decide on Stipend Program implementation. Learn more about the program at “Cell-a-bration” days or contact Procurement Services directly for more information. If your department is in the pilot and has already completed MCD documentation, individuals can come and complete the transition.
