April 6 marked an exciting day for Wake Forest and the Office of Wellbeing, which celebrated the winners of the Thrive Dimension Champions Awards.

The Thrive Dimension Champions Awards recognize faculty and staff who demonstrate commitment to Wake Forest by contributing to individual and community wellbeing. The eight dimensions of wellbeing recognized by the awards are: emotional, environmental, financial, intellectual, occupational, physical, social and spiritual.

“The Thrive Dimension Champions Awards are clearly a special tradition here on campus,” said President Susan Wente. “They are a great way to celebrate the work of thriving together and to celebrate those who have especially modeled wellbeing to others.”

“Thrive,” the University’s comprehensive approach to wellbeing, launched in September 2014. Equal parts education and inspiration, Thrive aims to provide the skills, knowledge and perspective to live healthier, balanced lives.
