Founders’ Day Convocation to be held Feb. 17

The Wake Forest University community is cordially invited to Founders’ Day Convocation on Thursday, Feb. 17, at 4 p.m. in Wait Chapel.

This year’s program will include a student oration, musical performances, recognition of Dr. Maya Angelou, remembrances of those we have lost this past year and remarks from President Susan R. Wente.

During this year’s ceremony, the Medallion of Merit — the highest honor bestowed by Wake Forest for service to the University — will be awarded to President Emeritus Nathan O. Hatch (LHD ’21).

The 2022 Founders’ Day Convocation will be held in person, and all those in attendance will be required to wear face coverings. The ceremony will also be livestreamed for those unavailable to attend in person. Please RSVP here before Feb. 14.
