“The Voyage of Life” opens to campus community July 16
Categories: University Announcements“The Voyage of Life: Art, Allegory, and Community Response” opens at Reynolda House Museum of American Art on Friday, July 16 as part of the museum’s “Weekend of Gratitude” for members, first responders and Wake Forest University faculty, staff and students. “Voyage of Life” will debut to the public on July 20.

Bob Shorter, retired English professor, passes away
Categories: University AnnouncementsWe are saddened to share that retired professor of English Robert N. (Bob) Shorter died at Salemtowne on Saturday, July 10. He taught medieval literature for 41 years at Wake Forest from 1958-1999 where he was chairman of the English department for 12 years and associate dean of the Graduate School.

School of Medicine receives full approval to open instructional site in Charlotte

Richard Wiliams, retired physics professor, passes away

After a successful early career at the Naval Research Laboratory, he was recruited back to Wake Forest as the Reynolds Professor of Physics. Gulley Drive closed July 9
