The following message was shared with the Wake Forest community by email on July 28, 2026.

Dear students, faculty and staff,

Wake Forest is pleased to share that Pepsi Bottling Ventures (PBV) has been selected as the University’s exclusive beverage partner through a new 10-year, University-wide agreement. The agreement expands Wake Forest’s longstanding relationship with Pepsi beyond Athletics into a comprehensive partnership serving the Reynolda Campus, Wake Downtown and The Graylyn Estate.

This partnership represents much more than a beverage transition. It is a long-term investment in the Wake Forest community that will enhance the campus experience while creating meaningful opportunities for students.

Students will benefit from initiatives that include:

  • student scholarships and support programs;
  • paid internships with Pepsi Bottling Ventures;
  • brand ambassador and student marketing opportunities;
  • full-time career pathways;
  • continued support for Wake Forest Athletics, including student-athlete NIL opportunities.

In addition to these student-focused opportunities, the agreement will enhance the campus experience through expanded low-sugar and zero-sugar beverage options, upgraded vending technology, campus event partnerships and sustainability investments that benefit the broader University community.

The agreement was selected following an extensive year-long review that included representatives from Athletics, Campus Life, Finance, Legal, Hospitality and Auxiliary Services, Procurement and the student body. The Campus Life Advisory Council (CLAC), composed of undergraduate and graduate students, also played a significant role in advising the committee.

Additional information about internships, brand ambassador positions and other student opportunities will be shared as programs become available. We are excited about the opportunities this partnership will create and the positive impact it will have across the Wake Forest community for years to come.

Sincerely,

Jackie Travisano
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
