Update from the Strategy Steering Committee
As we navigate a rapidly changing higher education landscape, the University remains committed to a proactive, coordinated approach to external policy and regulatory challenges. The Strategy Steering Committee (SSC), led by the Office of General Counsel, will continue its work this year to ensure University leadership remains informed and prepared in its response to emerging regulatory issues.
The SSC serves as the University’s central coordination group for monitoring, assessing, and responding to rapidly evolving federal and state policy developments that may impact Wake Forest’s mission and reputation. Bringing together representatives from key administrative and academic areas, the Committee enables the University to evaluate potential impacts, coordinate institutional responses, and provide timely, consistent guidance to campus stakeholders.
Visit the Office of Government Affairs website to review recent executive orders, current updates, and other key guidance on timely issues. We are here to provide the most up-to-date guidance and encourage the campus community to engage in the process as opportunities arise throughout the semester. In the meantime, if you have specific questions or areas of feedback, please contact Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer Ken Liddle at or Director of Government Affairs Jimmy Broughton at .
