Tyler Gailey has been named Director of Residence Life and Program Director of The Forest within the Office of Residence Life and Housing.

In his role, Gailey will provide leadership to the Residence Life unit and collaborate across the University to advance The Forest as a living and learning model.

Most recently, Gailey served as the interim director of residence life at West Virginia University (WVU). Previously he served as the associate director of residence life for WVU. In his roles at WVU, Tyler worked closely with academic affairs on the creation of a living-learning community program.

Prior to his time at WVU, Gailey served in residence life at the University of South Carolina and Clemson University.

Gailey holds a BS in political science from Clemson University, an MEd in higher education and student affairs from the University of South Carolina, and is pursuing a doctorate in higher education at WVU.
