Beth Anne Clinch, Student Health Services nurse, has died

It is with great sadness that we announce Beth Anne Clinch, a registered nurse in Student Health Services, died on July 1. Beth was a colleague and friend to many staff, faculty and students in our Wake Forest community.

Beth Anne trained many of the nurses as they joined the Student Health Service staff, and all regarded her as kind, caring, compassionate and generous. She also loved music. A highlight of her life was being a part of Bruce Springsteen’s Super Bowl Halftime show in 2009.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 9, from 2-5 p.m. at The Ramkat in Winston-Salem. (170 W 9th St.). There will be an opportunity to share remembrances during the event.

We extend our condolences to Beth Anne’s family and friends, as well as those at Wake Forest who had the opportunity to know her.

Each of us is affected by loss in different ways. Wake Forest offers support and counseling services for all students, faculty and staff.  The Chaplain’s Office can be reached at 336-758-5210. Faculty and staff who need support may also reach the Employee Assistance Program at 336-716-5493
