The SAC seeks nominations for new members, deadline is March 4

Staff Advisory Council logoThe following message is shared on behalf of the Wake Forest University Staff Advisory Council.

The Staff Advisory Council (SAC) was formed in 2006 to strengthen communication among staff and administration at all levels of the University. The SAC knows your voice is important, and we are inviting staff to use their voice to nominate a colleague.

Key points and parameters:

  • Candidates may be nominated by another staff member, or they may self-nominate.
  • You may nominate more than one person.
  • Any staff member nominating another employee should inform them of this intent and ensure that the employee is interested in serving on the council.
  • Eligible members must be employed at Wake Forest University full-time for a minimum of one year and must be in good standing.
  • Once elected, a staff member shall serve a three-year SAC term. A member may seek re-election for one term. After two consecutive terms, the SAC member must step down for a one-year interval before seeking re-election.

Use this form to nominate your colleagues or copy the following URL into your browser: https://forms.gle/a4ufUqom5nqMeDnY8.

The form will close on Friday, March 4, at 5 p.m.

Detailed nomination and election rules are located in the SAC By-Laws. For more information, visit sac.wfu.edu or contact a representative of the SAC Membership Committee.
