Transportation and Parking Services announces new van service for faculty and staff

Transportation and Parking Services is pleased to announce an enhanced transportation service for faculty and staff for the new academic year.

Beginning Monday, August 26, the daytime Gray Line Route (fixed route service) is being replaced with an On-Call Demand Van Service, which will be more flexible. This service will offer expanded transportation services to several WFU satellite locations. Below is a non-inclusive list of locations that will be served by the On-Call Demand Van Service:

  • Bridger Field House
  • Davis House
  • Graylyn
  • HR House
  • LJVM Coliseum
  • Reynolda House
  • Reynolda Village
  • University Corporate Center

This service is available Monday – Friday 7:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. You can request a ride by using the Transloc App (http://translocrider.com/) or calling 336-829-8238.

The On-Call Demand Service does not offer transportation to Wake Downtown or Brookwood, as there is currently a fixed shuttle route for these locations. For more information on WFU transportation services, visit https://parking.wfu.edu/ride-the-wake/
