Vanpool offers alternative transportation option during Business 40 closure

This is a guest post from the University’s Office of Sustainability:

Business 40 is closing on Nov. 17. Are you ready? The Piedmont Authority for Regional Transportation (PART) and Wake Forest Transportation and Parking Services have joined forces to offer you the chance to try Vanpool – an alternative transportation option to make your commute easier and reduce congestion during the Business 40 closure.

How it Works

The PART Vanpool program is a cost-effective alternative to driving alone. In this program, PART leases 7- and 15-passenger vans to groups of five or more commuters who live near one another and want to share their commute to work. The month-to-month lease includes the vehicle, insurance, maintenance, gas and an emergency ride home. Vanpools have free and reserved parking on campus.

Questions? Check out the FAQ on the Transportation and Parking Services website.
