Secrest Series presents Canadian Brass holiday show Dec. 6

This is a guest post from the Secrest Series:

Bring the family and get in the holiday spirit with a Secrest Series concert by Canadian Brass, the world’s most famous brass group. The program will feature familiar classical and popular holiday favorites, including “Christmas Time is Here,” “You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch,” “Jolly Old Saint Nicholas,” “White Christmas,” and many more!

The concert will be held Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. in Wait Chapel. There will be a 6:40 p.m. pre-performance talk.

With an international reputation as one of the most popular brass ensembles today, Canadian Brass has performed in virtually every major concert hall in the world, been seen by hundreds of millions of people on television, sold two million of its approximately 100 albums worldwide, and contributed nearly 600 new works and arrangements to the brass quintet repertoire.

Doors will open at 6:35 p.m. for a pre-concert talk led by Brian French, principle trombone with the Winston-Salem and Greensboro Symphonies.

Due to the popularity of this concert, we encourage you to pre-register your attendance through the Secrest Artists Series website and arrive early for best seat selection.

Tickets for the community are $5-$24. Group discounts are available.
