Work will begin May 17 to repave a significant portion of Wake Forest Road. May 26 is the estimated completion date for the project.
The repaving will take place on Wake Forest Road from Poteat Residence Hall to the rear area of Scales Fine Arts Center, near Allen Easley Street.
Wake Forest Road will remain open during repaving, but traffic delays will occur. Flagmen will be present, directing traffic.
Drivers may want to take alternate routes, when possible.
Specifically, the repaving will be in the area of the following buildings: Poteat Residence Hall, Huffman Residence Hall, Wingate Hall, Efird Residence Hall, Taylor Residence Hall, Davis Residence Hall, Z. Smith Reynolds Library, Olin Physical Laboratory, Salem Hall and Scales Fine Arts Center (front and back).
