Faculty Senate meeting today

This week’s Senate meeting will be at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 17, in DeTamble Auditorium. Refreshments will be served starting at 3:30 p.m.

After Senate business, the discussion topic will be “Reynolda Campus Technology Update.”

Presenters will be Nancy Crouch, deputy chief information officer, and Rick Matthews, associate provost for technology and information systems, CIO. They will discuss:

1. Update on latest cloud technologies deployed to campus: WebEx, Google Apps, Telepresence, video streaming.
2. Resources to help faculty learn and adopt new technologies.
3. Update on Adobe product licensing.
4. Questions and answers.
