Faculty/staff appreciation game set for Dec. 21, complimentary basketball tickets offered
The following message was emailed to faculty and staff on behalf of Wake Forest Athletics on Dec. 18:
As the fall semester comes to a close our athletics staff, coaches and student-athletes would like to wish you and your family a relaxing and fun holiday season. On behalf of our men’s basketball program, we want to invite you to start your holiday with our annual Wake Forest Faculty/Staff Appreciation Game!
Come join us as we continue to celebrate 30 years of LJVM Coliseum this Saturday, December 21 at 12:00 p.m. as the Deacs host North Carolina A&T. We are pleased to offer free admission and free t-shirts for all faculty, staff and their families.
Tickets will be distributed beginning at 10:30 a.m. at tables marked “Faculty/Staff” inside the East Lobby of the Coliseum. Faculty and staff members may come to the tables and show their Wake Forest ID card to request the number of tickets needed for their families. Athletics staff will distribute tickets at that time.
We hope to see you on Saturday at the Coliseum!

Day with the Deacs event to be held before Nov. 2 football game
Before the Nov. 2 Wake Forest vs. North Carolina State football game, fans are invited to participate in Day with the Deacs at the Coliseum. The free event will allow fans to watch part of a men’s basketball practice and meet student-athletes from several Demon Deacon programs.
Coliseum doors will open at 9:15 a.m. At that time, fans will be able to watch the basketball team finish practice. After the team is introduced, fans will be able to meet the team.
Other student-athletes present will include women’s basketball, cross country/track & field, field hockey and men’s tennis.
