Retired dean Robert Shively

We are saddened to announce that Robert (Bob) Shively, who helped found the Babcock Graduate School of Management and later served as dean, died on July 18.

He served as dean from 1982 to 1988 and was a Wake Forest faculty member for many years.  He retired in 1998.

We grieve Dr. Shively’s death and extend our condolences to his family and friends, as well as those at Wake Forest who had the opportunity to know him.

Additional information about Dr. Shively appeared in a recent Winston-Salem Journal obituary.
