Staff recognized for milestones, Employees of the Year announced
Members of the campus community honored service milestones of more than 250 Wake Forest staff members who were celebrating approximately 2,800 combined years of service. These individuals were recognized at the 16th annual Staff Rewards & Recognition on Tuesday, October 11 at Bridger Field House. Later in the day, a campus-wide reception was open to all faculty and staff in the Green Room of Reynolda Hall.

WakeUnited Campaign raises $350,000 to benefit United Way
The Wake Forest community successfully concluded the 2015 WakeUnited Campaign in December, raising $350,000 to benefit the United Way of Forsyth County. WakeUnited is the University’s annual campus campaign, which runs during the month of October each year.

Campus energy conservation plan to be in effect during break

In an effort to conserve energy over the winter holiday period, Facilities & Campus Services will carry out the annual temperature setback program for academic and administrative buildings from the evening of Dec. 23 until Jan. 4.

University installs charging station for electric vehicles
A charging station for electric vehicles has been installed on Gulley Drive immediately behind Tribble Hall, next to Manchester Plaza. The Office of Parking and Transportation installed the charging station, in collaboration with Facilities and Campus Services and the Office of Sustainability.

Death of Eddie Bullington announced; celebration of his life planned
his message was e-mailed to faculty and staff today:
We are saddened to report that Eddie Bullington, assistant director of engineering and utilities services, died November 11.
