Wake Forest University’s commencement ceremony will be streamed live on Monday, May 16. Links to stream the ceremony and other commencement-related events are available here. Commencement will begin at 9 a.m.

Services for Professor of Music Richard Heard will take place Monday, May 16, at 11 a.m. at Hope Community Church on Brownsboro Road. The University announced earlier this week that Professor Heard died May 8 in Winston-Salem after a long illness.

emporary discoloration of water may be noticed by people on and near the Wake Forest campus during planned repairs to the City of Winston-Salem water distribution system within the next week. The City announced May 11 that customers of its Utilities Division in the northwest quadrant of Winston-Salem and Forsyth County may notice temporary discoloration.

88.5 WFDD, the public radio station licensed to Wake Forest University, has won two 2016 regional Edward R. Murrow Awards from the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA).

The University Parkway entrance to Wake Forest will be closed to all traffic starting Tuesday, May 17, and continuing through Saturday, May 21, due to a City of Winston-Salem water main project at that location.

Biology professor Gloria Muday, and students Bethany Pan and Par Ranjibar, both senior biology majors, recently won an international contest, the Plant Teaching Tools competition, sponsored by the American Society of Plant Biologists (ASPB).
