Department of Education's proposed new Title IX regulations

With the safety and wellbeing of our students, faculty, and staff at the forefront, Wake Forest is carefully reviewing the final Title IX regulations concerning campus sexual harassment and sexual assault published by the Department of Education on April 19, 2024. Wake Forest University expands prestigious Stamps Scholarship to returning students
Wake Forest University is excited to announce an expansion of the Stamps Scholarship Program that will enable returning sophomores, juniors and seniors to apply for the prestigious Stamps Scholarship. Previously only available to incoming first-year students, the extension of the Stamps Scholarship Program to returning students will allow Wake Forest to identify and support exceptionally talented, engaged students who have exemplified leadership, perseverance, academic excellence, service, and innovation during their time on campus.

Update on the Campus Memorialization Project

Dear Members of the Wake Forest Community:
Last September, we shared an update on the Campus Memorialization Project, in our capacity as co-chairs of the Campus Memorialization Steering Committee. Since that update, over 100 Wake Forest University students, faculty, staff, as well as residents of Wake Forest, North Carolina, have participated in discussion forums or completed online feedback forms to inform the process of designing, locating, and constructing a memorial to the enslaved individuals who helped found our institution, as well as build and maintain the original campus.

Commencement is the highlight of our academic year. It is a wonderful time for the campus community to come together and celebrate with graduating students and their families. This year’s commencement ceremony will be held Monday, May 20, on Hearn Plaza, beginning at 9 a.m.

KinderCare at Wake Forest University center director announced
KinderCare Learning Companies for Employers has hired Yshekia Harris as the center director for KinderCare at Wake Forest University, which is planned to open in September.
