Congratulations to Jack Rejeski, professor of health and exercise science, whose proposal entitled “LookAHEAD-E (Action for Health in Diabetes Biostatistics Research Center Continuation/Extension)” has been funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and by (subaward/subcontract from) Wake Forest University Health Sciences (WFU funding agency).

Thanks to the generosity of the University administration and the MOA Friends, the Museum of Anthropology will undertake two renovation projects this August, resulting in the temporary closure of the Museum’s public spaces from July 31 to Sept. 4.

A funeral service for Dean Emeritus and retired Professor of Law John (Don) Scarlett will be held July 17 at 2 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church in Winston-Salem. The family will receive friends following the service in the fellowship hall.
