The LMS Review Steering Committee invites all faculty, staff and students to join us March 25-28 as we engage with vendors demonstrating what the Sakai and Canvas platforms can do for our community. The steering committee plans to recommend campus-wide adoption of one of these two systems by the end of the academic year, and feedback from those who attend these sessions will be an essential driver of that recommendation.

Dear Wake Forest students, faculty and staff,
Since my message to the campus community yesterday, I have received several emails expressing shock, disappointment and anger that Wake Forest volleyball coach Bill Ferguson was named in a federal indictment referred to by the U.S. Department of Justice as “Operation Varsity Blues.” The indictment alleges Ferguson accepted financial payments to influence the admission of a student that had previously been placed on the waitlist.

Wells Fargo is planning to replace its ATM on campus soon.
The work is scheduled to take place during the week of March 18. It is expected that the work will take approximately three days, during which time the ATM will not be operating.

Testing of the indoor alert systems in many Reynolda Campus buildings will continue today, March 12. Testing will occur between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. today. This is the last day of testing of the indoor alerts, which began on Monday.

Gamelan Giri Murti (Gamelan of the Enchanted Forest), Wake Forest’s Balinese percussion and dance ensemble, will host a spring concert featuring guest director I Made Lasmawan and dancer Ni Ketut Marni on March 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Brendle Recital Hall.
