Project Pumpkin, an event sponsored by the Volunteer Service Corps and the Office of Service and Social Action, will celebrate its 25th anniversary on Wed., Oct. 30.

Each year, more than 900 children from local agencies are escorted to the Reynolda campus where students, faculty and staff come together to provide a safe environment for trick-or-treating, carnival games and entertainment.

If you know of an agency (a Winston-Salem school, after-school program or daycare center) that is interested in participating in Project Pumpkin, please have them complete an electronic form or contact Shelley Sizemore at gravessa@wfu.edu or 336.758.3705 to learn more. Agencies can register to participate in Project Pumpkin through Monday, Oct. 14.

Faculty and staff are invited to escort their children through Project Pumpkin, but they must stay with them at all times – event organizers are not responsible for children left unattended. This event is free for faculty, staff and their families.
