The following is a message from Provost Rogan Kersh:

I very much hope you plan to join President Hatch and me on Friday, Oct. 18, to celebrate the University’s recent fundraising success and our campaign plans for the future. Feel free to drop in anytime between 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.  No need to register.

If your schedule permits, President Hatch and I, along with WFUers from across our community, will be making a short, entertaining presentation at Noon and again at 1:30 p.m.

To support this celebration, and a donor event planned for the prior evening, University Advancement will erect a large tent on Manchester Plaza. The good news is that most of the noisy work will occur over Fall Break when classes are not in session.  The bad news is that to be ready in time for our celebration, work will need to start on Manchester Plaza on Thursday, Oct. 10 — though not until late afternoon.

While we will do everything possible to minimize the disruption to Thursday classes, some noise is inevitable.  I thank you in advance for your patience and understanding.

Again, food, fun and a look into our future will be served up between classes on Oct. 18 from 11 a.m.–2 p.m.  I hope to see you then.Rogan Kersh
