President Nathan O. Hatch and athletic director Ron Wellman will be present Sept. 7 when BB&T formally introduces its Wake Forest school spirit financial center on Reynolda Road.

Located at 2815 Reynolda Road, the financial center will incorporate Wake Forest’s gold and black colors in its signs and feature numerous photographs of the University and its athletic events inside the center. While not a new BB&T center, its Wake Forest “branding” is new.

Wake Forest’s Deacon mascot and cheerleaders will attend the 11 a.m.-2 p.m. event that is open to the public. The University’s athletic department will also bring its tailgating RV, which is wrapped with Wake Forest colors and images. Hatch is expected to be at the celebration around 11:30 a.m.

BB&T has advertised free food and a gift for those who attend. The bank will offer prizes to those who participate in contests that day.
