Emergency alert testing scheduled for Oct. 12

University Police will test its outdoor emergency alert systems and its cable TV networks on Monday, Oct. 12, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. The tests are required to ensure these emergency notification systems are operating properly.

No action is required. University Police will conduct the test.

Emergency alert testing includes:

• Outdoor emergency alert systems
• Cable TVs networks

The outdoor emergency alert system will be tested during the day. Depending on where you are on campus, you may hear an emergency test notification on the outdoor campus notification systems.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. By regularly testing our emergency alert system, the University can better prepare to respond to emergencies and keep our campus community safe.
