Project Pumpkin, the student organized event that brings close to 1,200 children to campus for trick-or-treating, will be held Thursday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 6 p.m. on campus. Faculty and staff should be prepared for heavy traffic in the afternoon.
Buses will be unloading/loading in Lot P, east of Wait Chapel, starting at 3 p.m. until late afternoon. Drivers may experience temporary delays entering and leaving the lots while buses are loading and unloading children.
Lot A, between Wait Chapel and Efird/Taylor Residence Hall, will be monitored by an officer to allow for deliveries, and a few parking spaces will be reserved for news media and EMT vehicles.
Lot B, between Taylor and Davis residence halls, will be closed for the day.
Overflow parking for Faculty/Staff will be available in Lots W2, R2, R3 and other designated Faculty / Staff and General parking lots.
On Wake Forest Road from the intersection of Wingate Road to University Parkway, bus traffic will be extremely heavy.
