Building dreams: Join the SAC Pro Humanitate project
This message is shared on behalf of SAC.

This June, the Staff Advisory Council (SAC) invites the campus community to pick up a hammer for a cause. As part of our annual Pro Humanitate efforts, we are hosting a bed-building event to benefit A Bed & A Book, a local non-profit dedicated to providing children with their very own beds and books.
A bed is more than just a piece of furniture; it’s a foundation for a good night’s rest, better health, and improved performance in school. By combining the gift of a bed with a book, this project helps nurture both the physical and educational well-being of children in our area.

How You Can Help
We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help assemble bed frames on Tuesday, June 16, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the University Activity Space (formerly The Barn).
Why Registration is Important
We need an accurate headcount to ensure we have enough materials and can maximize the number of beds built during the session. Please take a moment to sign up today!
Let’s come together to build something meaningful for our neighbors. For more information on the mission behind this project, please visit A Bed & A Book.
