Wake Forest named one of America’s best large employers by Forbes

Wake Forest University has been named one of America’s Best Large Employers 2026 by Forbes, in partnership with market research firm Statista. The recognition places Wake Forest among 700 organizations nationwide recognized for fostering positive, engaging, and supportive workplace environments for employees.

Now in its 11th year, the annual ranking is based primarily on independent survey responses from more than 217,000 U.S. employees working at organizations with at least 1,000 employees. Participants—who remained anonymous—were asked whether they would recommend their employer and to evaluate it across key areas such as salary and wages, workplace culture, working conditions, opportunities for advancement, and overall work environment. Employees also provided feedback on previous employers and organizations they knew through professional or personal networks.

Survey results were analyzed alongside data from the past three years, with more recent feedback weighted more heavily to reflect current employee experiences. Employers with the highest overall scores were included in the final rankings.
