Research, Scholarship & Creative Activity Celebration and Project Slam
Wednesday, Sept. 24 | 4–5:30 p.m. | Benson 401
Hosted by the Vice Provost for Research, Scholarly Inquiry and Creative Activity and the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs, this annual reception honors faculty and staff accomplishments from fiscal year 2025. Enjoy light refreshments, connect with colleagues, learn about the interdisciplinary work happening in our Centers and Institute, and be inspired by the fast-paced Project Slam—where faculty presenters from a range of disciplines will share their innovative work in lively, bite-sized 4min talks.

Students across disciplines present posters and talks highlighting mentored and independent scholarship. It’s a chance to experience the creativity and curiosity of Wake Forest’s undergraduates firsthand.

Hit the Bricks

Since 2003, this student-run signature event has rallied the community to support the Brian Piccolo Cancer Research Fund and the Comprehensive Cancer Center at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist. Join students, faculty, staff, and alumni in running or walking laps around the Quad in solidarity against cancer.


Together, these events shine a light on the spirit of inquiry, creativity, and community that make Wake Forest thrive. Make plans to come out, celebrate, and be part of the momentum of discovery.
