Reynolda Hall is a central building at Wake Forest University, serving as a key hub for guests, prospective students, employees and all who call Wake Forest home. To enhance the experience for all visitors, the University is committed to creating a guest services environment that improves wayfinding throughout the building. As part of this effort, a guest services and welcome desk has been added to the first floor and will be updating access to direct guests to the front entrance off of Hearn Plaza during business hours.

Wake Forest continues to upgrade Deacon OneCard and badge access readers at the entrances of key academic and administrative buildings across campus, which aligns with the Building Access Policy implemented in 2021. This update supports the safety and security of our campus community and facilitates consistent and quick responses in the event of an emergency. These outcomes enhance the University’s ability to uphold its commitment to community engagement, outreach, service, creative work, teaching, learning and research.

Effective Monday, October 21, Reynolda Hall will transition to a card-access system using Deacon OneCard. Access hours for Reynolda Hall will be as follows:

  • Visitors and Guests: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through the first-floor doors off of Hearn Plaza. Visitors will be greeted by guest services and directed accordingly.
  • Students: 7 a.m. – 11 p.m. daily
  • Faculty/Staff: 24 hours a day, daily

Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to carry their Deacon OneCard at all times for easy access to Wake Forest properties.
